I guess i went insane with the P5/pegoryu spam in general... i can't control the hyperfixation 💀 but yeah, there is a LOT of interactions cause the two are best friends and Ryuji is one of the first characters the protagonist meets! So it's hard to choose a favorite interaction cause there is a lot throughout the games such...

But maybe in P5R in Ryuji's confidant cause of how he thanks Joker for staying with him and not abandoning him... tldr of the story, Ryuji was without a real friend for quite a long time, so you know he really meant that. plus how he says things in his confidant like how he feels free when talking to him and how he's glad he finally found a place to belong and that there was place for Joker too... right next to him... like bro what do you mean?? ok um evelynn and milo grew up in a lab, it's the only hospital in their small town (greenlake) so everyone goes there. 'greenlake medical center and labs.' behind the hospital front is a huge fucking lab. that's where evelynn and milo grow up, till theyre about ,,, 13 years old. atp one of the employees is beginning to feel guilty for working at this lab. it's not the best place to its 'subjects'. evelynn staring at him through the camera as if she can actually see him and sending him 'signals' on pieces of paper is not helping.

eventually he decides. he's breaking these kids out. he's become attached to these two and his job is rotating him out of this position soon anyway. and he does successfully! he adopts the two, quits his job, and flees greenlake ehmmm ,,,,, sparknotes version of the lore god 😵‍💫

so evelynn is a mechanics and sciences FREAK. she loves fucking around with chemicals, taking shit apart and building shit, she loves science. most of her stuff is to "make her and milo's lives easier" (it usually doesnt). she would drink a random chemical if prompted. when their new dad adopts them and breaks them out and they get a new home, the garage is fully dedicated to evelynn's Weird Shit. her room is full of it too. she's weird. milo loves to garden and knit and sew. he enjoys crafting as well.

evelynn also has extremely minor telepathic abilities. speaking into other's minds and influencing/morphing their moods is really it.

evelynn's flooded the house before on accident. she's also set a couple fires. she's a whizz with chemicals and mechanics though. milo is very withdrawn, shy, has a horrible fear of people and thinks everyone has intent to hurt him (he gets a bit better with it), evelynn is very outgoing, incredibly strange, and a little bit dense. no one knows if its on purpose or she's just Like That naturally. /silly

evelynn and milo both produce a translucent green material from their skin that can be shaped, hardened, and also reabsorbed back into their skin. they are twins and are both trans in the opposite directions. the material they produce can be used as functional objects (for example, a pair of scissors) but it must be reabsorbed after a while or it'll just disappear. they cant make permanent objects. they also have teeny tiny horns <3 this doesnt have much significance its jusr smth ive kept due to sentimental reasons from their first designs. it does not signal that theyre underworlders, theyre just little horns. cause i can.

my current brainstorm point for them is theyre chips off of a previous person or something. or something split evelynn and milo into two different people . grain of salt here its still a brainstorm point . um

someone broke into my apartment. I havent been on because the only thing i have that i can access the internet on is my work computer ( i can get into trouble for using even spotify on that) and my switch ( just got it last monday. in another situation id be ecstatic about getting a new game system, but right now im just glad i didnt leave it out in the open)

small town does not equal no crime. After the (insert wherever the power comes from) was fixed, it has some issues and shut down again a few days later. idk why. My rm and i decided to walk to the gas station for lunch, they had power, music, cold drinks and food, and bathrooms that have functioning lights. Our landlord said it would only be a few hours, so we used our backup battery packs ( yes the ones we’re only supposed to use for work or incase of emergency) to power a fan and opened a window (the little net thing closed) for the cats and left.

because we were only going to be away for an hour, i left my phone (by accident) and tablet on the couch. in plain view of the window.

well, we have a lot of college students who walk directly by out porch ( i even had a girl threaten to call the cops on me for smoking… on my own fuckin porch) and two other girls who decided it was public chatting place and were upset that interupted them wheni asked them to leave.)

we dont know if it was a college student, or someone else, called the cops and got it all sorted there wasnt much they could do ( figures)

they came in through the window, and we think they either left it open, or that Patches, one of my cats, got out when the opened it, because she was gone when we came home, and she liked to hang out by the window. Thankfully, miso hates going outside, and katsu is scared of everyone and hides when people come over. we still havent found patches. im not worried about her, she didnt really like us, she isnt declawed, and she was orginally an outdoor cat anyways. we left out food and water and liter for her, but if she comes back she comes back. ive lost enough animals not fret over it. (tbh if it was on of the other two id probably sob)

but whoever broke in stole a bunch of my game stuff. we dont think they even went into out bedrooms, cause nothing was out of place. it took me realizing some of out stuff, the cat and the askew window (what the fuck is that thing called??) to realize we’d been robbed. ( well me actually, my roomate keeps all his stuff in his room which is fair because other than HBO i pay for all the streaming services, and i (thankfully still have) 4 consoles, which wont fit in my tiny ass room.)

they took my phone and tablet. (not worried about the phone, it was some dinky burner phone) a package off our porch ( it was mario kart, i got a switch like last monday, and the only game i have is animal crossing. very fun. thankfully, id left it on my desk.) they also took a few of my games, thankfully i have duplicates of most of the ones they took and digital copies.

ironically, the version of TLOU and FO4 (i have 4 copies of fo4 including the digital copy) were the scratched up versions, they did take my copy of infamous for the ps3. and they also took my unopened copy of RDR2. so like, pricey items but the only thing im upset about are my tablet and my cat.

for those wanting the drawings i promised, i will still get them to you, thankfully i had a warranty on it and its getting replaced after the police finish whatever it is they say they do. ( doubtful) so it may take a hot minute.

however it also means i have to completely restart my issue 2 of my comic, as i hadn't saved the final pages and the wips anywhere other than my phone and tablet. personally, im frustrated, but it gives me a chance to change a few wee details and try out a style ive been thinking on.

so im probably not going to be super super active for the next few (idk how long, im sorry) but i will draw what i said i would.

As for patches, i told my mom if she comes back pregnant ( again -_-) that we are going to yeet her into a rocket to live with the martians, and get a new cat. (or if she doesnt come back. we work best with a three cat ratio) if its boy we are probably going to name him garbanzo. (this is mostly a joke, but she was intended to be temporary as a friend of mine couldnt keep her anymore and we had been looking for a home for her. surprisingly, nobody wanted a super chill calico who enjoyed nothing but food and sitting directly on your trachea.)

all of my Polka redesigns! (polka is a character i made) from around 2014 to today

her name is polka but it was at various points pola, apollene, apollo. a couple characters also merge into her, i will tell you when.

i didnt date my drawings so every date will be an estimate but they will definetaly be in order bc i know how my style evolved. this is all the art i kept, i threw alot out.

i wrote more and then tumblr deleted it hh but tldr all my old characters are super personal self inserts and this one is my adhd before i was diagnosed

heres the first pola! that was in 1 or 2 year of middleschool. she was loosely based on my friend pola from summer camp and spiced up with the fun bubbly character archetype (example pinkiepie from my little pony) she cant stop herself from being energetic and over the top, she will either cheer you up or annoy you. she is kind of lighthearted at this stage and lacks the later bitchiness, all the problems she causes are not on purpouse. in this drawing (if you cant tell.. i dont blame you) she is hanging from the ceilling and thats why everyone else is upside down

i used to glue all my good drawings into a sketchbook. these are all from middleschool still. bottom left is marceline, based on a goth girl by the same name whom i met at the hospital. one thing about my irl friend is she would cling to the popular older kids bc more freedom and privilleges

now heres a whole page of temmie, a travelling salesman i really didnt want to admit was based on temmie undertale. thats late middleschool. what is she doing here? by the time we reach highschool there will be no temmie because i thought it was too unoriginal, but all the character traits and some design elements (notably utility vest) will be merged into polka and become half of her.

this is a highschool drawing where polka splits into 2 again. the one who keeps the name polka is the short one in front and her character is the same, however from her old design only a bandana and blouse remain. the other polka-esque character on the left is fairly unimportant and merges back in about 2 years.

this one is from today! she will keep evolving tho. right now shes a wolf(?) instead of a cat(?) short hair seems to suit her more because she wouldnt care for her long hair and keep it healthy but she still wants to be pretty and cool. how cartoony she is and what nose she has depends on what shes in, if i decided to make a super serious comic i would give her a human nose. one thing im not sure about is the colors, i think green is a realistic color for a vest like that if she got it used or found it in her dads closet (she did for sure) but green is not a very energetic color so i also liked when the vest was yellow and the sleeves red. Red is the color of her personality. when i stopped wearing pins i stopped giving her pins, and i stopped bc they make noise and annoy me so they would annoy her too and reduce her cat/wolf stealth (but im concidering giving her patches for that pop of colour. probably 4-5 on the back and 1-2 on the front above the pockets). Polka is a thrill seeker, energetic, an anarchist, and a bit of a hedonist. she will always cheat if she can, and she doesnt always recognise other peoples needs, but she tries to keep the people around her in a good mood and is always a social butterfly until bad rumours inevitably spread about her (i dont see her as a bad person though, shes just like that and theres little to do about it besides damage control)

How to deal with a Sims 4 Game Patch when playing with Mods and CC

OPTIONS FOR GAME PATCH:

1.) Manual Update, day of (or soon after) patch release

2.) Delay update

3.) Vanilla play

OPTION #1 (MANUAL UPDATE)

If you are doing a manual update immediately when it is available, first thing to do is BACK-UP your Mods, Saves and Tray folders.

INSTRUCTIONS ON BACKING UP MODS/CC, SAVE FILES, AND TRAY (skip if you’re familiar):

Go to your Game folder, click and drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then right-click somewhere blank on your desktop and create a New Folder (rename it STANDBY). Open this STANDBY folder and right-click in the blank space, click New Folder (name this one Mods). You are going to repeat the process until you have three folders inside your STANDBY folder. They should be titled Mods, Saves, and Tray.

Open your Mods folder (on your desktop) and the STANDBY folder at the same time (side by side). Select all of the files in your Mods folder (CTRL+A or Command+A), then right click on them and select COPY. Then click into your STANDBY folder, go to Mods, right-click the blank space, and select PASTE. Now you will have your original Mods folder on your desktop to test and use, and you will also have this STANDBY folder as a duplicate back up.

Next you will go to your Game Folder, select Tray, select all items (CTRL+A), right-click, select COPY. Then you will paste all these folders into the STANDBY>Tray folder. Then do the exact same thing with your Saves folder. Now you will have everything finally backed up. I recommend moving this STANDBY folder to an external hard drive (or flashdrive).

AFTER YOU UPDATED WITH GAME PATCH: please test once WITHOUT your Mods folder. Remove the entire Physical Mods folder from your Game Folder, place on desktop. This assists in a Folder Refresh. Let the game make a new Mods folder, with a new Resource.cfg inside, and rebuild from there. Don’t forget that you may need to turn on your Game Settings to enable script mods and custom content. This is in your Game Menu, under Other Settings. Considering “IF” the new free-floating objects feature “doesn’t” break CC. It should be safe to put your CC right back into the newly created Mods folder. At this point, you should still have your mods on your desktop. This is the point where you need to begin researching if your mods are working. To do this, you can check the comments below for mod updates. We implore you to follow creators on their social media for confirmation of working/broken mod reports. Most Script Mods WILL BREAK. Your best bet is keeping all of your mods on your desktop and only introducing them after

a.) mod has been confirmed working

b.) mod has been replaced with updated version.

OPTION #2 (DELAY UPDATE)

To delay an update, you must have pre-emptively turned OFF your Game Auto-Updates in advance. Next you will need to ensure your Origin Client is OFFLINE. This will mean that you can keep all your mods and cc in your game folder and continue to play unchanged. People do this in the meantime while they’re waiting for Creators to update their mods. This is the option for people who can’t bare to play without CC and Mods

OPTION #3 (VANILLA PLAY)

This option is for people who are too excited to wait any longer for the patch update and new expansion, and would rather wait for all the Creators to finish their testing and patches. So in order to do this, you will need to remove your Mods folder from your Game Folder, and place it on your desktop. Or you can disable mods and custom content in your Game Settings, under Other Settings. I still recommend backing up your saves and tray files.

GAME REFUSES TO START

If your game is not starting or prompts an error, remove all off your mods/cc, then restart. If it starts up just fine, then it is due to an error in your mods. If it does not start up, then you may have a corrupted save file due to a broken mod. Please be sure your game folder is saved in the appropriate path:

EDIT 1 (ADDITION):

For those of you saying "my mods never break when i update the game". Mods can and most likely will break after an update. The word "broken" does not necessarily mean your game is going to completely stop working. So i'm going to make up an example to help you better understand. Let's say that Sacrificial's Life Tragedies Mod was labeled as "Broken". But when you play with it in game, you see no issues, and you receive no LastExceptionErrors. So you may think, "well thats not right, my mod is fine." when in reality its not. So some mods are massive and have loads of animations, objects, and content in general. If one tiny thing from it is corrupted in the code due to a patch update, it is considered “Broken”. So in Sacrificial's Life Tragedies Mod, you have five serial killers that you have the option of using. Lets say the game patch update breaks The Killer Nanny in that mod. But you never play with her ever. This could mean that you would never know that the mod is broken because you havent received any error notifications due to you not utilizing that portion of the code. This still means the mod is "broken" though. Broken can just mean that there is a small (or large) portion of the coding that is not compatible with how the game coding has changed due to the update. TLDR: a small feature can break and you would never know it if you never use it. it still means the mod is broken.

For those of you looking for methods to read your lastException files, the following are your options:

DEADERPOOL DISCORD: For the deaderpool discord, you will have to create an account on discord. its super easy. i absolutely love discord. if you dont know what it is, its basically like a massive chat room platform, particularly popular amongst gamers. If you decide to create a discord account, you'll have to download the software. its totally safe! i use it all the time. a lot of gamers use it as a platform to talk to their friends over voice chat when playing a game that doesnt provide a feature like that. if you decide to join discord, here is the link for the Deaderpool Discord (ran by the creator of MCCC): https://discord.gg/mccc

if you go on there, they have a text channel called "error support". its super easy to use, all you have to do is click on that channel, and then click and drag your LE file into the channel box. it will upload it to the server. theres nothing in your file that will get you hacked or anything. tens of thousands of files have been uploaded to this. its literally just a text document saying where the error is in your mod coding. From there, someone from the Support Team will respond with a solution. Its really great because they can help you to understand reading the code.

BETTER EXCEPTIONS MOD: This is a mod that you download from Twisted Mexi:

This mod will provide a new file to generate in your game called the Better Exceptions Report. When you get one, it will tell you what it suspects is causing an issue in your game. This is one of the most user-friendly options for new modders. When you see the identifed "issue" in the report, you'll have just to exit out of game and delete the issue (broken cc/mod). Before you re-start your game, just remember to delete the BetterExceptionsReport file from your game folder. Otherwise it will not be able to update it with a new one if a new error arises.

LAST EXCEPTIONS READER: this is just a website where you can do the same thing as the deaderpool discord. just drag and drop your file, and a robot reads it to identify the issue. The only problem with this is you cant talk to the robot and explain your situation (like you can in discord).

tldr; verification for sung’s song tokyo. partial lyrics, full comp & prod. the song starts in tokyo, when sung is missing his boyfriend. it evolves over time to be like a diary piece and since it serves as the first ‘chapter’ in his album, it’s also kinda like an intro where it talks through/foreshadows what will be in the rest of the album. sung’s affinity for natural sounds continues, as well as inspiration from @fmdxsuji’s song arari on the composition. again pls dont come for me if it isn’t a gayageum it Sounds like one (in the equivalent of white ppl playing the ukulele but still)

not all songs needed to be about one thing. tokyo, for instance, happened to be about ten different things at once.

it’d started in tokyo. element had a tour stop in the city, and sung wasn’t feeling as chipper as he’d have liked. he loved performing with everything in his being, but-- he still rested his head against the window, watching buildings and people pass by in blurs, no other care for conversation.

sung couldn’t quite make sense of what had caused such a mood in him on the plane from seoul. he supposed, part of it was that he missed daisuke. his boyfriend wasn’t from tokyo, far from it actually, which over time seemed to have made daisuke feel a bit bitter towards tokyo. it wasn’t close enough for his family to visit, which meant seeing them even less often than he would have through touring. sung understood that. he doesn’t like being so far away from his parents the few weeks at a time that element go on tour. years sounded impossible.

but, tokyo still reminded him of daisuke. being greeted at the gate, and hearing chit chat all around him in japanese, sat an ache in his heart. after all, coming to know daisuke over the last four years was the reason he’d come to be better at japanese. passing on by, he could understand most of what was being said, and that was all daisuke’s impact. most every sign he saw reminded him of his boyfriend, the food that he ate reminded him of what wasn’t with him.

maybe, he was just sad in general. that happened to sung, sometimes. he couldn’t pinpoint an exact cause of sadness, and was just sad. underlying issues he hadn’t dealt with could be the reason that happened, but it could also simply be his brain chemistry acting up.

that was his trouble; sung didn’t know. all that he could do was sit in his feelings until they lessened. he took a walk by himself before the concert, telling his manager he can ask for directions if he happens to get lost. that time alone was really needed. he called daisuke, but it seemed the man was busy, as he went to voicemail.

“hi, honey. um, i made it into town safely. it’s- it’s kind of loud here, this might have been the wrong time to call, but, um, i just wanted to check in. maybe see your face.” he’d stopped his path, leaning up against a building to look at the sky. “i miss you already. it’s hard being surrounded by so much that reminds me of you, when i don’t have... you.” his sigh probably sounded tinny over the phone. “anyway, um, call me when you have time, please. i love you!”

sung stayed in that spot for a while, long enough that he decided to record a video of the bustling landscape around him. as he started walking again, he caught all kinds of sounds, cars, trains, planes, click clacking of heels, even a siren. he ended the video with a short facecam, so he could cut that part of the video to send to daisuke.

over the rest of his time in tokyo, sung kept playing that ten minute video over and over, and over again. something about the ambient, faceless sound of human existence was calming, comforting.

in the shower after the concert, sung kept humming the same note pattern on repeat. at first, it was natural, as his brain kept coming back to it, without his active thought towards it. however, the more he repeated himself, the more sung thought that he should be keeping his melody in his head to record after he got out of the shower. it could be useful for something, at some point, he’d reasoned.

he was right, eventually. in the flurry of trying to write songs for his first solo album, sung had turned back to every piece of unfinished song that he possibly could. one of them was this piece, broken into the sounds of daily tokyo streets, and a short humming melody. it was... workable.

sung crafted a simple piano piece based on the humming, used some of the sound from his tokyo video, and just with those two things, it was a basis to write off of. he tried to recall the feeling of that day, by watching the full video of the street a few times over. getting back to that day wasn’t as hard as he thought. papers, then his computer, were dotted in with sing-rap lines about missing someone.

only partially through mixing that vocal line in, did sung think he might be wasting his time. the sound was so different from everything else he’d been working on, much too simply and abstract. and so, the playlist of tokyo was shelved again.

with march came the end of his second solo promotions, and in came the desire to write more music. it was then he came back to toyko, to fiddle around. sung wasn’t sure what he wanted from the song, or if he wanted anything at all, which took some of the pressure off in continuing to write. he made it much more complicated, at first, adding a plethora of digital instruments that he figured he could add in live later, should he so choose. in the end, basically none of that made it into the final cut. the negative of doing whatever he pleased, was that for the most part, he’d lost the point, and feeling, of the song.

what did stay, was something sung came to find integral to the piece. modeled after a recording of his own heartbeat, there was a drum line. deep, guttural, mixed into the piece as if it was still stuck in someone’s chest, and your ear was against it, straining to hear what was pounding into you without any effort on its part.

the song had started to be about life, and those held dear, which was a perfect place to use something that sounded like the foundation of life.

stumbling across the song for the last time was entirely accidental. sung would call it fate. that melody hadn’t crossed his mind in months, but the second he heard it again, it was stuck for weeks. there was nothing he could do to quell the sound in his brain than work on it.

first, he stripped back what wasn’t working, back to the simplistic version he’d started with. after adding on the drums, the world was his oyster. over the next couple of weeks, sung started writing lyrics, mixing where he was at back in tokyo, with his feelings of self. he wondered, if maybe part of his sadness, that day, was in missing himself, too. being in that sad area wasn’t what sung liked to consider part of him. it was something that happened to him, that he dealt with decently regularly.

lyrics took the majority of his time, as he mulled over this thoughts of what the song might come to be, if about anything particular at all. the next major composition change was quite quick, though. his interest had been piqued, the first time he heard suji’s demo of arari. sung had yet to attempt using traditional korean instruments in his music. really, the thought hadn’t crossed his mind until that moment, having his heart swayed by the beauty of the danso and suji’s beautiful voice.

he wasn’t very confident, never having trained with traditional instruments before, but there was a first step in everything. he’d gone to his usual music shop as soon as he had time to, to rent a gayageum. and, simple as the piece he wrote was, it didn’t take too much learning for him to get a good recording of it. listening to it again, with that addition, sung felt how much the song benefitted from that small change, and promised himself that he would continue to learn the gayageum, so that he could make something more beautiful to show the world in the future.

sung also made a note to thank suji for the inspiration.

the next change was quite a big one, though it didn’t deal with the composition. towards the end of september, sung thought he might want to go further than he did with moonchild, and have a song completely in english. even more ambitious than before, he knew, but he also had a slight edge of confidence, after having felt the power moonchild ended up bringing.

a creature of habit, sung called up the same songwriter he’d worked with on moonchild, to request help again. he didn’t really want to translate the words he’d already written, thinking that would flow much less smoothly as a full song, but rather, he wanted to take the feelings he’d put into the korean lyrics, and match it with english.

sung tried to take a more active role in writing the lyrics that time, because it was a full song, based on his own experiences and feelings. it worked fine enough, since sung had a decent grasp on understanding english, even if he didn’t think of it easily himself.

he’d insisted they keep one of the english lyrics that was in the original piece. it was a callback to another song he’d written for the album, talking about love and hate. tokyo was a place that held those feelings, from himself and his original inspiration for the song, just like seoul had from himself for the last decade.

getting to where he wanted was harder than it was for moonchild, since they were starting from near zero, from where sung usually started his songs, and because... sung knew he was being more stressful of a writing partner than he was the last time. every word he wasn’t sure of, he asked for in-depth explanations of, wanting each line to express exactly what it was he was going for.

sung couldn’t explain what this song was about, if he was asked, not in a pretty pink bow. the song was about tokyo, and what that city had brought to sung. that ditty, on repeat, with the sounds of scratched pavement underneath. music wasn’t always simple to understand. it could be a feeling.

the last thing sung changed about the song before sending it off in his final tracklist, was a clip of him humming at the end of the song, with that siren in tokyo in the distance.

Im probably faking it but lately i feel like thier are different people in my head. Like some are people from video games but... some arent. They talk by themselves and... have their own thoughts and opinions. They only take control sometimes and i can sometimes communicate with them. They have thier own memories. Hey dude, it’s okay, it’s confusing but you’ll be okay!

We’re not professionals so we don’t have any right to tell you if you’re in a system or not. But we can actually confirm a few things!

It does sound system-y, and I don’t know if it’s validating or not, but we don’t have amnesia! (Well, we do have it but it’s nothing like a blackout.) And when we front, there’s usually always at least one person in the background too! So even if we’re in Full control, we actually call it “Main control”

It’s good you know about DID! But try reading about OSDD1- OSDD10b specifically! OSDD1-a and b are like DID but a bit different- and whether or not you get diagnosed with the other has the same treatment anyway!

Also, it’s 100% okay not to get diagnosed- because it can be scary, and DID/OSDD is really hard to talk about. Some people don’t believe it’s real- or some people think it’s dangerous- but you’re not dangerous! Even without a diagnosis, you’re still a system anyway. For us, we’re unofficially diagnosed, so it’s not on paper

I know it’s scary (I keep sharing that, sorry) but it’ll be okay.. being in a system is A Lot.. but you’ll get through this. For now, think of everyone as a team! You’re gonna be stuck with each other for a long time so.. might as well make the most of it right? I say hello to everyone!

A lot of people in systems may say being in one is only pure suffering and stuff, but I hope you know that eventually, with enough work and understanding, you’ll all be in a place you feel comfortable and happy in.

DID has amnesia, usually- blackouts even- though not everyone does! It might be common for DID systems to have blackouts and lack of communication, but you can improve overtime! Sometimes your diagnosis can change based on your recovery too- but to keep it simple, people boil down DID to having bigger amnesiac walls- so if someone fronts, they might need to take notes on what happened previously

OSDD1-A is commonly described as being similar to DID, except with “less distinct alters”. They’re still real people! I can’t get into it much since we’re not median, but they’re described as usually, median systems. Their alters are also described as being mostly of fragments- or like.. “versions” of who they split from. They have amnesia

OSDD1-B (Thats us!) is similar to DID, but without amnesia- or without large amnesia. They can have very distinct alters but can (not always but) smoothly transition to front without not knowing what just happened. It’s complicated to explain, and yes you can and still have amnesia though. Except instead of pure black outs, you can actually access the memory bank better. Though... this really depends on your recovery process. Also, we like describing it as... “it’s like we traded no amnesia for “collective bad memory””

TLDR

DID: known for larger amnesia between alters

OSDD1-A: has amnesia, less defined/distinguished alters (although they’re still a system of course!)

OSDD1-B: like DID but with less amnesia between alters

I just watched Daniel Sloss's comedy special "Jigsaw"

And I need to rant about it, and so tumbrs gonna hear all about it.

I liked small portions of his special, but I dont like his over-all style of humor and life views.

I agree sort of with the part about loving yourself 100% before you let someone else love you. but that's not possible all the time. You will not love yourself 100% of the time. And you will not love 100% of the person you are with 100% of the time. You can say you love everything about them, all the quirks that you would normally find annoying, they are tolerable, possibly cute, even charming, especially in the first three or so months, during the honey moon phase of your relationship. You can say "you know normally id find someone who talks through out movies or tv shows really annoying, but I like when she does it" or "I hate mess and clutter, but that's just part of her quirkiness, and its just part of who she is, and honestly whenever I go over to her house I'm not looking at the piles of stuff laying around or the dirty dishes piled in the sink, because I'm too distracted by her beauty and her presence to notice the mess" but guess what? You do. You notice those quirks. Those flaws. And your infatuation with that person is temporarily blinding you, causing you to overlook all those would be deal breakers under different circumstances. But you arent thinking about that right now, are you? All you can think about is her smile, the way she turns her head to look at you when she laughs at something, the way she gets trasnported into someother celestial plane when she's listening to a song that means a lot to her.

Jump ahead to maybe 3, 4 months into the relationship. You did notice all those quirks, those flaws, those negative traits. And they start to make you anxious, because you start thinking about a life with them, and how if you lived with that person, youd have to deal with all of those things 24/7, instead of just a few hours a week. Their messy habits. Their poor life choices. Their depression that you dont know how to help with. You know you cant help with that, and you know you'll never fully understand. you constantly worry whether their apathy, sadness, and distancing themselves is them growing tired of you, falling out of love with you, or if its just a bad day and their depression is hold them down. You know you need to be there for them, but you you feel the need to do more, but you dont know what. And its wearing you down.

You will find a person that you love 100% of them 100% of the time. And they will not love 100% of everything about you, 100% of the time. You don't even have to 100% love yourself 100% of the time. You will have bad days where you dont love yourself at all. And thats okay. Just know that better days have happened, and better days will come. You just have to work at it.

I think relationships are the same way. You will never find the perfect person, and you could spend hundreds of lifetimes trying to find some one perfect for you. I'm not saying you should settle for less. I'm just saying you shouldnt be chasing an idealized version of your ideal life partner, waiting and searching and hoping you'll find someone who fits into your jigsaw perfectly. People arent jigsaw puzzles. They are more like clay. They dont stay the exact same over a life time. You'll find that the partner you are with right now might be a completely different person 5 years from now. And you might be different, too. You may find its easy to stretch and fold, to adapt to your partners differences, and they to yours. Thats a good sign. But if not, then its okay to realize you've grown into different people, and they are not whom you love anymore.

But it might be worth working on. Love is indeed a feeling. But its also an active choice you make every day. Every moment.

Tldr: don't settle, but dont wait for the perfect partner, because they dont exist. Recognizing and accepting people's faults and loving the person anyway is not the same as being blinded by infatuation and overlooking them. Love is an emotion, an action, a commitment. Dont feel like you have to stay if it gets really bad, but dont run at the first small thing. Communicate. Compromise. Take some time to learn about yourself, so you know what is too much, and what is not enough.

At the same time, it’s yet another one of my core fundamentals which I think can impact someone. Below is my answer.It’s all about intent.If your intent is to make as much money as possible as fast as possible (i.e short term), the answer is not for you. You’ll do things that other guys/gurus mention such as “Provide incentive for prospects to sign up for freemium but do not provide too much value so that free version of the product is enough.” — that’s corny, dull and lacking a long-term vision.Here’s something that I’ve noticed within myself. At a point, I’ve realised I love some companies to the point where I feel like they’re my friend. They’ve done so much good to me and they’ve been “by my side” to a point where I don’t have any problem with parting with my money.There’s an emotional connection between me and them. It may sound dramatic but it’s true. When I pay them I do so happily as I support their cause.Here’s the TLDR answerHelp them grow so you can grow together.By that I mean the freemium model should offer the client the chance to grow — equality of opportunity — and if it does happen that they grow and become profitable, the SaaS starts charging based on that. In a sense, value-based pricing, or at least as much as it could get with a scalable model.In other words, open up the doors for a lot of people and then benefit mutually from the winners.Objection 1But I don’t want to have users on the freemium plan leeching my resourcesNow here’s the catch — I’d say charge the winners enough so that it’ll cover the expenses for those who didn’t get it yet (or leeches, because I know that might be going through your mind, especially if you’re a business person).Charge them enough so that you won’t get mad when you find out about that couple of users that just sucked the benefits of your benevolence and never contributed towards your company.Objection 2I can’t afford to offer the free plan to so many peopleHere’s another magnificent thing that happens when you open the doors for everyone — word of mouth is on steroids. You’re on a fast track to word-of-mouth express. It’s possible you might have heard this comparison before — arguably you can reach 1000 people. And one of these people knows 1000 people. That means you’re a person away from a million. And two people away from a billion.If your intent is to do good and give chances to everyone to prove themselves, within that network of a billion some of the engagements will include how nice it is that your SaaS is doing them good — whether they pay or not.Therefore, I’m pretty confident when I say that the ARR you’ll get to in 1–2 years, given the money you’ll be burning initially because of the free plan (it’s not the case all the time though) will be significantly bigger than the ARR you’d have by implementing the shitty tactic of“Provide incentive for prospects to sign up for freemium but do not provide too much value so that free version of the product is enough.”Give them bloody enough if you can. Because you’ll have a customer for life and some of them will become even friends. And then when they win and scale, they’ll be more than happy to pay you. Millionaires who grew up as orphans donate back to orphanages because without these houses, they couldn’t have won. Most of the time it’s more than just THE orphanage they grew up in. Eco Lifestyle Game Patch Update

OPTIONS FOR GAME PATCH: 1.)  Manual Update, day of (or soon after) patch release 2.)  Delay update 3.)  Vanilla play

Option #1 (manual update) If you are doing a manual update immediately when it is available, first thing to do is BACK-UP your Mods, Saves and Tray folders.

INSTRUCTIONS ON BACKING UP MODS/CC, SAVE FILES, AND TRAY (skip if you’re familiar): Go to your Game folder, click and drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then right-click somewhere blank on your desktop and create a New Folder (rename it STANDBY). Open this STANDBY folder and right-click in the blank space, click New Folder (name this one Mods). You are going to repeat the process until you have three folders inside your STANDBY folder. They should be titled Mods, Saves, and Tray. Open your Mods folder (on your desktop) and the STANDBY folder at the same time (side by side). Select all of the files in your Mods folder (CTRL+A or Command+A), then right click on them and select COPY. Then click into your STANDBY folder, go to Mods, right-click the blank space, and select PASTE. Now you will have your original Mods folder on your desktop to test and use, and you will also have this STANDBY folder as a duplicate back up. Next you will go to your Game Folder, select Tray, select all items (CTRL+A), right-click, select COPY. Then you will paste all these folders into the STANDBY>Tray folder. Then do the exact same thing with your Saves folder. Now you will have everything finally backed up. I recommend moving this STANDBY folder to an external hard drive (or flashdrive).

AFTER YOU UPDATED WITH GAME PATCH: please test once WITHOUT your Mods folder. Remove the entire Physical Mods folder from your Game Folder, place on desktop. This assists in a Folder Refresh. Let the game make a new Mods folder, with a new Resource.cfg inside, and rebuild from there. Don’t forget that you may need to turn on your Game Settings to enable script mods and custom content. This is in your Game Menu, under Other Settings. Considering “IF” the new free-floating objects feature “doesn’t” break CC. It should be safe to put your CC right back into the newly created Mods folder. At this point, you should still have your mods on your desktop. This is the point where you need to begin researching if your mods are working. To do this, you can check the comments below for mod updates. We implore you to follow creators on their social media for confirmation of working/broken mod reports. Most Script Mods WILL BREAK.  Your best bet is keeping all of your mods on your desktop and only introducing them after

a.) mod has been confirmed working

b.) mod has been replaced with updated version.

Option #2 (delay update) To delay an update, you must have pre-emptively turned OFF your Game Auto-Updates in advance. Next you will need to ensure your Origin Client is OFFLINE. This will mean that you can keep all your mods and cc in your game folder and continue to play unchanged. People do this in the meantime while they’re waiting for Creators to update their mods. This is the option for people who can’t bare to play without CC and Mods.

Option #3 (vanilla play) This option is for people who are too excited to wait any longer for the patch update and new expansion, and would rather wait for all the Creators to finish their testing and patches. So in order to do this, you will need to remove your Mods folder from your Game Folder, and place it on your desktop. Or you can disable mods and custom content in your Game Settings, under Other Settings. I still recommend backing up your saves and tray files.

GAME REFUSES TO START

If your game is not starting or prompts an error, remove all off your mods/cc, then restart. If it starts up just fine, then it is due to an error in your mods. If it does not start up, then you may have a corrupted save file due to a broken mod. Please be sure your game folder is saved in the appropriate path: PC users should look something like this (minus the kmeha..thats just my comp name) C:\Users\kmeha\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 If youre game is continuing to give you start-up issues, please feel free to post about it. But include the following: PC/Mac user? Legacy Edition? Folder Refresh conducted? Restart without mods conducted? Include picture of error message.

”MY MODS NEVER BREAK”: For those of you saying "my mods never break when i update the game". Mods can and most likely will break after an update. The word "broken" does not necessarily mean your game is going to completely stop working. So i'm going to make up an example to help you better understand. Let's say that Sacrificial's Life Tragedies Mod was labeled as "Broken". But when you play with it in game, you see no issues, and you receive no LastExceptionErrors. So you may think, "well thats not right, my mod is fine." when in reality its not. So some mods are massive and have loads of animations, objects, and content in general. If one tiny thing from it is corrupted in the code due to a patch update, it is considered “Broken”. So in Sacrificial's Life Tragedies Mod, you have five serial killers that you have the option of using. Lets say the game patch update breaks The Killer Nanny in that mod. But you never play with her ever. This could mean that you would never know that the mod is broken because you havent received any error notifications due to you not utilizing that portion of the code. This still means the mod is "broken" though. Broken can just mean that there is a small (or large) portion of the coding that is not compatible with how the game coding has changed due to the update. TLDR: a small feature can break and you would never know it if you never use it. it still means the mod is broken.

LAST EXCEPTION FILES For those of you looking for methods to read your lastException files, the following are your options:

1. Deaderpool Discord 2. Better Exceptions 3. Last Exceptions reader

DEADERPOOL DISCORD: For the deaderpool discord, you will have to create an account on discord. its super easy. i absolutely love discord. if you dont know what it is, its basically like a massive chat room platform, particularly popular amongst gamers. If you decide to create a discord account, you'll have to download the software. its totally safe! i use it all the time. a lot of gamers use it as a platform to talk to their friends over voice chat when playing a game that doesnt provide a feature like that. if you decide to join discord, here is the link for the Deaderpool Discord (ran by the creator of MCCC): https://discord.gg/mccc

if you go on there, they have a text channel called "lastexception_support". its super easy to use, all you have to do is click on that channel, and then click and drag your LE file into the channel box. it will upload it to the server. theres nothing in your file that will get you hacked or anything. tens of thousands of files have been uploaded to this. its literally just a text document saying where the error is in your mod coding. From there, someone from the Support Team will respond with a solution. Its really great because they can help you to understand reading the code.

BETTER EXCEPTIONS MOD: This is a mod that you download from Twisted Mexi. https://www.patreon.com/posts/better-major-26712505 This mod will provide a new file to generate in your game called the Better Exceptions Report. When you get one, it will tell you what it suspects is causing an issue in your game. This is one of the most user-friendly options for new modders. When you see the identifed "issue" in the report, you'll have just to exit out of game and delete the issue (broken cc/mod). Before you re-start your game, just remember to delete the BetterExceptionsReport file from your game folder. Otherwise it will not be able to update it with a new one if a new error arises.

LAST EXCEPTIONS READER: this is just a website where you can do the same thing as the deaderpool discord. just drag and drop your file, and a robot reads it to identify the issue. The only problem with this is you cant talk to the robot and explain your situation (like you can in discord).
